IMA advocates for competitive marketplace products, value, and benefits on your behalf, evaluates product policies, and provides access to the insurance products through your IMA membership. Mercer Health & Benefits Administration LLC is the Program Administrator and performs day-to-day service needs, including marketing, application processing, customer service, billing, claims processing, along with working directly with the insurance carriers and IMA to ensure the products continue to meet the needs of IMA members. The insurance carriers underwrite the insurance products offered. They determine the rating structures, ensure product materials meet state filing requirements, and develop the group policy certificates.
